Artiom Chaplygin
Co-Founder at Foundance
Artiom is a tech entrepreneur and advisor, who has worked with numerous tech companies and has had his bit of ups and downs over the past 15 years. His career started as a tech M&A advisor in a Frankfurt-based boutique right in the middle of the 2008 financial crisis. After a few years with the company and several deals successfully closed against all odds, he got interested in the emerging tech startup scene in Berlin and moved to this vibrant city. The first experiences as a founder though taught him how difficult it actually is to start up from scratch. It is nothing compared to what it seems, if you only read TechCrunch or if you work with the guys, who look for help to sell their companies. What followed were years of trial and error, success and failure, and a never-ending passion for building and innovating with tech.
Today Artiom is one of the co-founders at Foundance, the venture bootstrapping platform and social network with built in smart agreements for tech entrepreneurs. Foundance is a web3 startup, not only for crypto natives, but for anyone willing to create anything. It solves the problem of _where to start?_ if you have an idea and want to turn it into a business. Artiom’s passion has always been to fathom the future and work backwards to find the root cause of the problem to solve. Now he believes to have found a way to help many entrepreneurs to become successful in doing just that — against all odds, if need be.
