Dr Vesna Petresin, BSc PhD FRSA is a transdisciplinary artist + thinker making XR experiences, augmented performances, multisensory ambients.

Her expertise in media arts, VR / AR / XR and immersive sound brought her the position of Visiting Research Fellow at Goldsmiths, Artist Residency at the ZKM and University of the Arts Amsterdam. She has been awarded a Knight Foundation grant for a permanent responsive audiovisual environment, InnovateUK grants for digital design applied to fashion and live performing arts, and was selected for the Cannes XR Festival.

Vesna has been an evangelist for the first blockchain-based art museum and the first WebAR NFT gallery. Her practice designed and exhibited at the first realtime online gallery, at the inaugural Silicon Valley Art Fair, and at the inaugural Biennale Online.

As a time-architect, innovation coach and early adopter, she has collaborated with Arup, HP, Adobe, AmbX, Philips, Bulthaup, Lucify, helped plan interactive environments for London’s Exhibition Road, created experiences for Mercedes Benz, Carl Suchy Philips.

She has exhibited and performed at Tate Modern, ArtBasel Miami, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Academy of Arts, Venice Biennale, Institute of Contemporary Arts London, Sydney Opera House, Vienna Secession, Muziekgebouw, Deutsches Museum and World Architecture Festival.

A Fellow of the RSA, Vesna has been promoting creative thinking and human-centred innovation through universities, research centres (CERN) and think-tanks (MTF Labs, Tallberg Institute).
