An active member and researcher in the EVM security community, Merkleplant is an Ethereum and cryptography enthusiast and privacy advocate. When not working, you can find him researching new EVM programming languages or partaking in a little low-level EVM tinkering.

A previous Solidity auditor at Byterocket and contributor to security DAOs code4rena and Spearbit, Merkleplant also remains an active member of the Huff programming language community and ForthDAO, the DAO governing the Ampleforth Protocol.

An expert in smart contracts, Merkleplant joined Chronicle Protocol to tackle the ‘Oracle Problem’. Oracles are still one of the least resilient and most costly parts of DeFi, and Merkleplant’s mission is to improve this.
